I am drawn to stories about power, identity, ambition, and the contradictions of human life—how people navigate the worlds they inherit, challenge the expectations placed upon them, and imagine something different.

Since beginning my filmmaking journey in 2007, I have worked across documentary, scripted storytelling, commercial production, and digital media. My experience spans Hollywood production environments, independent filmmaking, and the development of original work through OVG. Across these forms, I bring a questioning eye and an interest in the people behind the larger story.

My perspective is shaped by my Nigerian-British-American identity, my Pan-African outlook, and a life spanning cultures and industries. Whether exploring politics, gender, history, or personal relationships, I want to create work that is emotionally engaging, visually compelling, and willing to confront uncomfortable questions.

Looking ahead, my ambition is to build a body of films and series that moves between intimate human stories and expansive historical and imagined worlds. Stories that give African and diasporic experiences depth, complexity, and scale—and make room for curiosity, conflict, humour, and possibility.
